If you’ve never had an Akashic Reading before, you may be wondering what on earth it actually is.
Fair question.
The Akasha, or Akashic Records, is often described as a kind of energetic library of all souls. It holds the records of who we are at a soul level – our gifts, patterns, lessons, lineage, experiences, potentials and the deeper architecture of our being.
That can sound rather grand, I know. And in some ways it is. The Akasha is sacred, profound and vast.
But in practice, a reading can also feel incredibly personal, grounding and affirming. Less like floating off into some abstract cosmic realm, and more like being reflected back to yourself on an entirely new level. Something deep inside exhales into “Oh. Yes. That’s me.”
A more general Akashic Reading will often focus on questions you bring to the session. You might ask about your relationships, work, purpose, a pattern you keep repeating, a decision you’re facing, or something you’re trying to understand in your life. The reader opens your Records and brings through guidance in response to those questions.
That can be beautiful and very useful.
The Soul Blueprint Reading I offer is a little different.
Rather than looking at a single life area or issues, I have been trained to ask about the deeper structure of your soul and bring through what I am shown about who you are at that level. It is less “tell me what to do about this situation” and more “help me understand who I am, what I carry, and what themes are running through my life.”
In a Soul Blueprint Reading, we look at things such as your soul gifts, your soul lineage, the type of lifetime you are in, the deeper themes your soul is working with, patterns you may have carried across lifetimes, and the particular qualities or wisdom you have brought with you.
Often what comes through is incredibly affirming. It may reflect gifts you have always had but perhaps haven’t fully trusted, understood or valued.
Sometimes it brings relief, because a pattern that has felt confusing or frustrating begins to make more sense.
Sometimes it is deeply moving, because the reading names something precious about who you are that you may have felt, but never had reflected back to you in quite that way.
And sometimes it is simply fascinating. Truly. I am regularly amazed by the resonance of what comes through, especially when I am reading for someone I know very little about.
For me, the purpose of this work is not to make you feel special in a shiny, ‘look how spiritual I am’ way. It’s to help you understand more of who you are beyond the surface layers of personality, history, job title, memory and conditioning.
Those layers do matter, of course. Your human life matters. Your experiences matter. Your choices matter.
But they’re not the whole story.
There may be gifts, callings, patterns, sensitivities, desires and deep inner knowing that belong not only to this lifetime, but to the soul. A reading can help bring that to the surface.
It can help you understand why certain things have always mattered to you. Why particular themes keep appearing in your life. Why you may feel pulled towards a certain kind of work, relationship, healing, expression or path. Why some things have felt harder than they “should”, and why other things feel so natural they may have been easy to overlook.
It’s not about handing over your authority to the Records or to me as the reader. In fact, quite the opposite – a good reading should bring you closer to yourself.
It should help you trust what you recognise. It should illuminate what is already within you. It should give language, context and sacred reflection to something your deeper self may already know.
That is what I love most about this work.
At its heart, it is a sacred conversation with the deeper truth of who you are. My hope is that you leave feeling clearer, affirmed, and more connected to the wisdom your soul has been carrying all along.
